Privacy Policy

Effective August 16, 2026

Local media

WaveSift processes audio, video, waveforms, clip names, edits, and exports in the app’s private storage. It does not upload that content to publisher-operated servers. Media leaves only when you choose a system share or export destination.

Purchases

Apple or Google and RevenueCat process the optional one-time Remove Ads purchase, an app-scoped customer identifier, and limited device or network information needed to validate the entitlement. They do not receive your audio.

Advertising

The free version may request non-personalized banner ads from Google Mobile Ads after any privacy choices required in your region. Google may process IP-derived approximate location, device and app identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic or performance data to deliver, measure, and protect ads. WaveSift does not send audio, filenames, project titles, edits, clips, or waveform content to the ad service. Remove Ads stops ad requests after the entitlement is recognized.

Control and deletion

Where required, ad privacy choices can be revisited from Settings. Deleting a project removes its app-managed source, edits, and analysis files; saved exports can be deleted separately. Uninstalling asks the operating system to remove app data, subject to device backup behavior.
